Filmstro had built a music format and engine, that allows users to edit the depth, power, and momentum of a given piece of music in their library.

Our challenge was to build a beautiful UI around this that made sense to users, feeling intuitive from the get-go. The 3 editable sliders formed the core aspect of the software.

Users found the interface we designed easy to use, with a simple timeline at the bottom where you can customise the music at certain points, to fit the imported video.

For some users however, this was too much of a pro solution, and downloading it would be a point of user friction. Enter the web version of Filmstro.

This new web version allowed users to directly browse the music on the website first, allowing an easier buy-in for the user.

Later, the user could discover the enhanced editing features of the music when they found something they liked, and chop and change segments of music.
